Our Organization

Born out of a quest to provide safe and effective ingredients in skincare, L`Adore Tokyo was inspired by Japan’s science, preventive medicine philosophy and age-old skincare rituals. An extensive research and collaboration process that began in Tokyo involved collaboration with scientists and cultural advisors. This process resulted in innovative formulas that bring the essence of Japanese meticulousness and minimalism to modern skincare, blending traditional methods with contemporary science. With these formulas that support skin health and natural beauty, L`Adore continues to offer innovative solutions every day.

Our Skin Care Philosophy

At L`Adore, every product is a testament to our belief in harnessing nature’s most powerful ingredients. Our formulas are created in collaboration with Japanese skincare experts and chemists, combining ancient herbal wisdom with modern scientific discoveries. Skin care and skin health are inseparable. In a very different place from aesthetic concerns and today's beauty impositions, skin health requires nutrition at the cellular level. Therefore, in parallel with the fact that a daily "balanced" diet can eliminate or alleviate many health problems, we enrich our formulas with vitamins, minerals, and probiotics. Our long-term goal for your skin is to formulate with touches that will strengthen the bioavailability of actives that are lost, slowed down, and cannot be taken in sufficient amounts with food with age, and to provide your skin with long-term strength and durability.

Our principles

Vegan

Our products do not contain animal content, you can see this in our "Vegan" symbol on our packaging. We proudly carry our "Vegan" certificate approved by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), one of the world's most respected animal rights organizations, and we adopt production processes that are sensitive to all living things.

Cruelty-Free

We do not test on animals and we never ask our suppliers or collaborators to test on animals. We make sure that this ethical approach covers our entire production process.

Non-Comedogenic

We do not include pore-clogging oils and ingredients in our formulations, no matter how “natural” they are. In this way, we prevent acne formations or subcutaneous problems at the “first” stage and hope that you get more benefits with less product.

Skin-Compatible pH

We are aware that a pH level compatible with the skin is vital for the skin. For this reason, we take care not to tire your skin with basic ingredients such as soap or carbonate, and to ensure safe use even on sensitive skin. From time to time, we include slightly acidic formulations to renew the skin and we do not compromise on transparency by including this in our packaging and product description.

No Colorants

Skin health is too priceless to be sacrificed for the long-term risks of colouring ingredients that offer a short-term effect. We believe in the glow that comes from health; therefore, we stay away from all synthetic colourants in order to provide dazzling results in the long term.

No Fragrances

We prioritize the long-term health of all skin types, including sensitive skin; that's why our formulas are free of perfumes and other synthetic fragrances, which are known endocrine disruptors. The scent you smell is directly from the product ingredients.

Reef Safe

Our products are prepared with components that do not harm the marine ecosystem. We contribute to the protection of coral reefs. We are progressing with components that do not harm the marine ecosystem and do not put the lives of marine creatures at risk. Moreover, we are happy to inform you of our sensitivity to components that may accumulate in underground waters and indirectly pollute drinking water below 1%.

Compliance with EWG Criteria

In all our formulas, we stick to ingredients that are rated safe by the long-standing authority EWG (Environmental Working Group) – known for providing consumers with safer options by impartially examining the effects of various chemical substances – with the aim of protecting consumer health and the environment, based on ingredient safety and environmental sustainability.
